The Latest from Niles, Amie and don't forget Alex

BRAG BOOK

Our family and friends are so great, we gotta give 'em props...

Daniel

Daniel (Amie's 17-year-old bro), continues to get accepted to great schools. The "yes" from Northwestern followed UNC and Davidson. AND, he conducted a piece that his orchestra is played in the UN lobby in NYC April 1. Harvard and Princeton sent "maybes" - not too shabby. Oh, and check out the CH News for Daniel's published articles (usually in the Sports section).

Caitlin

Caitlin (Niles' baby sis) spent her spring break kayaking in the Bahamas with Outward Bound. Besides this amazing adventure, she continues to ace science classes we dropped or couldn't even try, while volunteering at the vet school. Her new internship is going great, despite the occasional cat scratches.

Lauren

Lauren, Amie's sis, went to Jefferson Medical School for a few days as they try to woo her. A top Med school that REALLY wants her...they must know what they are doing!

Michael

Michael, Niles' eldest sibling, is hard at work in Santa Fe finalizing Patents on several inventions and beginning to take orders. We'll share more info on his cool items once we can.

Graeme & Galen

Graeme and Galen (Amie's youngest sibs) are expending all the usual elementary-school boy energy by taking Karate, playing Football (Galen) and Horseback Riding (Graeme). They both have won awards this year in their sports, and earned yellow belts in Karate.

Burke

Burke, Niles' younger bro, is coming up with some very cool pieces as he continues to do well in design school. He built an interesting chair that converts to a table and to a rocking chair. He also has been around the continent snowboarding and is on the school's team.

Officer Brown

Formerly one of the most thorough and efficient Event Coordinators in all of the NHL, Megan gave up the glam for a gun. She has spent many months in a grueling Police Academy where she was a girl in a class of 40 guys. She had PT every morning before class then class 9-5, and studying every night. But it's paid off 'cause May 14 she graduates and then she hits the streets. Watch out Raleigh, she's a tough one!

Jenn, AKA, Bond-Chick

In the past year, our friend Jenn has learned to Rock-climb, scuba-dive, surf, roller blade, snowboard, shoot a pistol (yikes) and give creeps the heave-ho. Her continual personal growth inspires us. Next, she's off to the skating rink and the pool.

April & Derek

After 9 1/2 months (just about) April & Derrek (fellow Marching Tar-Heels) FINALLY gave birth to William Dean - a whopping 8 lbs/11ozs. We can't wait to meet the cutie!

All the rest of you are awesome, too! Did you do something fabulous recently? Let us know and don't forget to send a picture, too.
