| Niles, Amie and Alex are moving! | |

For those of you who read the 2003 recap, you know why we are here in PA without jobs. We began 2004 with a cross-country road trip, then came home and buckled down to look for jobs. Last week, we each got offers. Niles began today (July 28) as Director of Production at Alltel Pavilion in Raleigh, NC. This is a temporary assignment lasting the rest of the amphitheater's season. He is excited to be working for a big company, gaining experience in the Amphitheater business and to be around friends and family for a while. Alex is with him and will be expecting all of her doggie friends to have her over to play! They are staying at a corporate apartment just off the 54/55 exit in RTP for now, and hope to move to one in Cary at the end of August. At the end of the 3 months, they will join Amie. |

So eventually, we will all
move to Connecticut where Amie has been offered a job in
Bridgeport at the Arena
at Harbor Yard. The arena is on the Long Island Sound, near
downtown Bridgeport, and next door to a baseball stadium that
the company also runs. As Marketing Manager, many of the duties
will be the same as in Raleigh at the RBC Center. She will be
marketing events (concerts, family shows etc) and assisting the
Marketing Director in marketing the building. The building is
somewhat smaller than the RBC Center, holding around 12,000. Fairfield
Men's and Women's basketball teams play there, as do a minor league
hockey team, the Sound Tigers. After starting August 9th, Amie
will find a place for us to live, while trying to rent out the
home in PA. Not quite sure where she will stay until we find a
permanent place so if you have any ideas...  We are both very excited about our new positions, all though not too excited about the number of states that separate the two venues (and us).
